Resources
Here are some resources that I have used for my clients and recommend:
Attorney:
- Walter Foster of Sheehan, Phinney, Bass and Green (www.sheehan.com) specializes in Business Assistance, Employment and Litigation. He and his firm have a great depth of experience. wfoster(at)sheehan.com
Public Relations/Press Releases:
- David Greenwood (www.DavidAGreenwood.com) can works to make press releases news so that they are picked up by reporters.
- If you want to just put a press release out and hope for the best, this free site can help: http://www.1888pressrelease.com/
Certified Public Accountant:
- Many of my clients have moved their company to Thom Arrison (www.arrison.com) and have told me that they have been very happy that they did. That's all I need to hear.
Insurance:
- I get all my insurance from Joe Harrington of MarkhamPriest.com Insurance. I find he goes the extra mile to find the best coverage and rates.
Payroll:
- IRS issues can drag down your company faster than even a bad manager. To ensure you (or your bookkeeper) don't mess up and get in hot water, I recommend using a payroll company, I've known a few that do an accurate, trustworthy job at a decent price. My current favorite is Brian Gasbarro of PayrightPayroll.com in Acton, MA, and find that they provide great custmer servcie at a good value.
Business Networking International (BNI 495 Referral Network):
- I am a member of this networking group and I want to continue to grow the B2B sphere that already contains some good trusted professionals.
To get a quick website like this with editor, blog, email, etc..:
- Go to 1&1. It is inexpensive and incredibly easy.
Internet Fax
- Today it makes no sense using a traditional fax machine. Now when people send you a fax, you can get it as an attachement (PDF) to an email. Go to Packetel for the inexpensive internet fax.
